New Employee Onboarding for Managers
- Wiki Site (Contains link to onboard sheet. Managers should work with Department Business Administrator to initiate HUIT process.)
- Manager Onboarding Template for New Employees (Customizable template that can be used for new employees)
- Campus Services New Employee Orientation (Agenda, topics and compliance training covered)
- PeopleSoft: Team Information Tile
- PeopleSoft: Approving and Adjusting Time and Absences
- PeopleSoft: Orientation Review Summary (managers) (90-day probationary period form – only used for Exempt and HUCTW roles)
Maximo and Kronos New Hire
Front line employees who work in Custodial Services under the SEIU contract; and those that work in Facilities Maintenance, Engineering & Utilities, and Transportation/Fleet Management under the Area Trade Council contract also need to have payroll and personnel records set up in local systems. Please follow the instructions below to ensure that new hires are entered into the correct system. A job data change form must be submitted to your HR Operations contact (see contacts below) prior to the employee’s first day.
NOTE: Please have Maximo job data change forms into HR Ops by Friday for new employees to appear on the payroll beginning the following payroll week.
