Human Resources Consulting
Our team of HR Consultants are available to answer questions, address concerns, and ensure that you are getting the most you can from your experience working at Campus Services.
As workplace problems, questions, or changes arise, your HR Consultant will help you navigate policies, practices, and contract interpretation. HR Consultants work closely with managers and employees on issues affecting job performance, employment and talent management, annual reviews, training, hiring practices, diversity initiatives, leaves of absence, discipline, compensation, classification, harassment or discrimination concerns, layoffs, reorganizations, and conflict resolution and labor relations. Each department has an assigned HR Consultant (see contacts below) who will act as your point-person for any employment-related issues.

Performance Management
Performance management provides Campus Services staff and managers dedicated time to reflect on progress, clarify expectations, and discuss priorities and potential career paths. Performance management is intended to foster staff member’s individual success, to engage managers in the development of their staff, and to support the priorities and goals of the Campus Services. Performance management is an ongoing process that includes continuous coaching, the setting of priorities and goals, and summarizing year end progress. The performance management cycle follows the fiscal year, July 1st. through June 30th.

Employee and Labor Relations
HR Consultants support staff and managers in resolving workplace issues. The team will work with university partners in Harvard Human Resources and the Office of Labor Relations to provide guidance on employment policies for union and non-unionized staff to ensure fair and consistent treatment for all Campus Services staff. Please see the department contact list to reach out to your HR Consultant when issues arise.
